Can you imagine Indiana Jones without John Williams’ rousing Raiders March? Or Captain Jack Sparrow without Hans Zimmer’s jaunty pirate theme? Cinema’s greatest action heroes are defined as much by their movies’ iconic scores as they are by their larger-than-life adventures. This spectacular concert from the Hallé sends us on impossible missions with Tom Cruise and Michael Giacchino, training dragons with Hiccup and John Powell and crossing swords with Zorro and James Horner. And with conductor Stephen Bell summoning the world famous Hallé Orchestra and an army of heroes, superheroes and lip-curling villains you can set your course for distant lands and galaxies far, far away for two hours of pulse-racing music.
Programme includes music from Back Panther, Captain America, Top Gun, Wonder Woman, James Bond, Batman Begins, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Superman, Star Wars, The Incredibles, Saving Private Ryan, How to Train Your Dragon, and much more.
