Join the Nottingham Lunchtime Choir
Fancy getting out at lunchtime to sing famous numbers from Les Miserables and Jersey Boys? Then make it a musical break time with Nottingham Lunchtime Choir, run by Music for Everyone.
How often do you find yourself grabbing a quick sandwich at lunchtime, not taking time out from work?
The Nottingham Lunchtime Choir is the perfect opportunity for city workers and residents to take a proper break during Thursday lunchtimes and enjoy singing together. This friendly and relaxed group is open to everyone who loves to sing and you don’t need to be able to read music to take part.
A singing break has a host of fabulous benefits. It can increase your confidence, develop your creativity, and even improve your posture and breathing. Above all, it’s a lot of fun, with the chance to make new friends outside of work.
Each week the choir sings a range of music from pop and folk to musicals, blues and classical, leading up to an informal performance at the end of the term.
Nottingham Lunchtime Choir meet in the Level 4 Foyer of the Royal Concert Hall based in Nottingham City Centre, between 12.30pm and 1.30pm. Sessions are just £3.50 each but you can sample what’s on offer with a free, no obligation taster session on Thursday 25 April.
No booking necessary for the taster session. Just come along to the Royal Concert Hall box office foyer and ask for the Lunchtime Voices choir for access.
