Our free festive Live at Lunch concert returns to the Royal Concert Hall Nottingham with the NTU Chamber Choir, and the NTU Concert Band. Bring your family, friends and colleagues along and get ready for a feast of Christmas tunes old and new, and warm up those vocal cords ready for some audience carols.
The NTU Chamber Choir, directed by Matthew Hopkins, is a close-knit ensemble of around 20 singers which is open to NTU students, staff and alumni who sing a varied repertoire from baroque to contemporary music. The choir perform regularly in and around Nottingham, as well as on tour. The NTU Concert Band is the largest instrumental ensemble at the university and consists of students, staff and alumni of NTU. The band enjoy performing a mix of popular music, music from films and musicals and more traditional pieces.
